We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage the engineering function at our Chorley site. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient operations and driving continuous improvement to support the delivery of the site business plan. Working closely with senior managers, you will influence performance and embed a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring compliance with QHSE policies and procedures.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance, corrective works and safe systems of work.
- Plan and coordinate resources for maintenance, repairs and installations.
- Manage approved suppliers and ensure timely procurement of parts and machinery.
- Deliver training on new equipment and maintain accurate safety records.
- Monitor KPIs, budgets and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support retention of site accreditations.
What will make you stand out?
Skills & Experience
- Proven management experience of industrial maintenance.
- Held similar positions within manufacturing / process industries.
- Strong knowledge of operational maintenance, boilers/steam systems, and WECO management.
- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline or time-served apprenticeship.
- Experience of implementing continuous improvement programmes.
- NEBOSH/IOSH/QHSE qualifications desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
