The Opportunity


  • To ensure that the company’s vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that department tasks are conducted correctly and on time.
  • To ensure that the company operates in line with all legal requirements including Health & Safety and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements at all times.
  • Manage debt and retention in accordance with commercial terms.
  • Achieve target daily calls to customers and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Produce reports for Country Unit Credit Control.
  • Develop, implement and maintain guidelines for internal/external customer relations in the Credit Control department.
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of qualitative and quantitative resources in the department.
  • Report salaries, payments and absence to the salary office.
  • Actively participate in creating a good and attractive work environment through the Company Values.
  • Handle a ledger as part of a credit control team.
  • Responsible for own cash allocation as outlined by the Line Manager.
  • Maintain accurate & up to date customer details & account records.
  • Work with a minimum of supervision on collection of overdue accounts.
  • Use initiative & imagination to achieve targeted results whilst promoting customer goodwill.
  • Make adjustments, handle queries & resolve problems within company guidelines & policies.
  • Handle disputed accounts & negotiate to bring payment into line with terms.
  • Undertake complex reconciliations & compile documentation for legal action

What We're Looking For

• Good Commercial skills.


• Very service minded focusing on first level resolution.


• Excellent communications skills


• Knowledge of Commercial terms, Company Policy, Standards and Work Instructions.


• Knowledge of all relevant equipment to perform duties


• Able to understand and interpret all published Standards, Policies and Work Instructions V1/ 31-2024relevant to the Sites operation.


• Ability to manage upwards to deliver customers’ requirements.
