We are recruiting for a Hospitality Sales Consultant to join our Wednesbury site. Selling bespoke linen solutions and ancillary services including workwear and washroom solutions into hotels and restaurants, customers will include small to medium sized companies spanning the hospitality sector.

Your Mission at Elis

The role of a Hospitality Sales Consultant you will be responsible for achieving new sales across our hospitality business which includes bed linen, table linen and spa ranges. You will drive sales growth by winning new independent and small group accounts for the assigned territory and represent the company in the highest professional manner, getting into hotels and convincing customers of the benefits of switching to Elis linen rental services.

  • To target and win new linen rental contracts within the Hospitality sector.
  • Full accountability for sales activities in the assigned territory for all customers of bed, table and hotel spa linen.
  • To deliver effective, compelling sales calls and presentations to drive sales.
  • Accurate & regular forecasting against the regional strategy in association with the General Manager (pricing, account type, scale, opportunities etc).
  • Demonstrating or presenting products and services to General Managers, Buyers and Housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure diary is managed effectively to maximise customer interactions & manage sales activities through the effective use of CRM.
  • Achievement of agreed sales targets and objectives on a monthly / quarterly and annual basis.
  • To have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the company products, services, policies and objectives.
  • Development of business plans in order to optimise new business sales.
  • Work closely with the wider matrix of stakeholders and support (Commercial Director, Regional Director, National Sales, Key Account Managers, Customer Service Mangers and Account Managers) to support account wins.

  • Ability to persuade and influence people at all levels and develop good working relationships.
  • A proven track record of commercial awareness, achieving sales targets and excellent negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter and ability to organise self to ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner.
  • MS Office and general IT skills including use of CRM systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good negotiation skills with ability to win new business independently.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse, understand and drive sales performance metrics.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably B2B and in the hospitality market.
  • Experience of influencing both hotel industry stakeholders.
  • Experience with selling “technical” products to businesses with an important after sales/service process.
  • A proven track record for achievement of sales targets and business performance.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
