We’re looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator to provide accurate, effective and professional administration and excellent customer service and ensure the smooth running of our site in Bishop Auckland.
Your Mission at Elis
Your Mission at Elis:
- To develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues and to provide first line support to both.
- To accurately record customer orders via phone or email and proactively, promptly and efficiently deal with any customer queries, keeping them informed of developments in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
- To promptly and courteously notify customers of shortfalls on their deliveries.
- To promote Connect ordering and deal with any Connect queries.
- To provide accurate and timely data entry, manipulation and retrieval, including payroll data and customer charges.
- To provide HR administrative support to both Shift Managers i.e new starters, leavers, maternity leave, sickness etc.
- To identify and appropriately and professionally escalate any problems / issues which need management intervention.
- To undertake reception duties as required.
- To maintain customer and staff confidentiality and to work to company policies and procedures.
What will make you stand out?
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a professional telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Payroll experience desirable but not essential.
