The Opportunity
HR Advisory: Provide performance management, Employee Relation advice, reward and benefits advice, and handle disciplinary advice, grievances, and other HR issues.
Meeting Support: Attend and support formal meetings, offering advice on company policies and legal considerations, and ensuring proper documentation.
Manager Coaching: Train line managers on HR policies and procedures through individual sessions and group meetings.
Data Management: Maintain tracking systems, create reports, and provide key metrics to the HR Business Partner.
Career Development: Coordinate apprenticeship arrangements and document learning and development activities.
Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity initiatives and ensure effective team communication.
Employee Engagement: Act as Regional Engagement Coordinator, participate in Employee Forums, and support engagement efforts and recognition programs.
HR Projects: Be creative and implement ideas and projects across the region to improve any subject concerning HR - either alone or as part of a team.
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will Ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent, have strong employment law knowledge, excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility and a professional attitude are essential.
This role is based at one of our South East sites (Chatham / Northfleet / Dartford / Brixton/Merton) and will also involve travel to the other sites within the South Region.
Minimum of four days a week to be worked from one of the Regional Sites. Occasional other travel is required, however, planned ahead.
