This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead our newly acquired Swindon site (formerly Oxwash). As we welcome this business into the Elis family, we are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee this transition.

The Swindon site represents a key strategic step for our UK operations. We are looking for a strong leader who can not only inspire teams and deliver results but also navigate the specific challenges of integrating a new acquisition.

We are looking for someone who is either an existing General Manager or a high-potential candidate ready to step up into a General Manager role for the first time.

Your Mission at Elis

  • Lead the Integration: Your initial focus will be driving the integration of the Swindon site into the wider group. You will align the site with Elis processes, standard operating procedures, and systems to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Lead and Inspire: Direct all site teams – production, logistics, engineering, customer services – to deliver excellence every day while fostering a culture of trust during a period of change.
  • Take Ownership: Full P&L responsibility with a focus on hitting EBITDA targets and safeguarding revenue.
  • Develop People: Coach, support, and grow your team, ensuring every colleague—both new and existing—feels valued, engaged, and part of the Elis culture.
  • Drive Improvement: Lead the LEAN agenda and embed our culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Shape the Future: Align local operations with Elis’s strategic goals while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation within this newly acquired market.
  • Deliver for our Customers: Put service at the heart of everything we do, ensuring we continue to exceed customer expectations throughout the integration process.
