The Opportunity
Pricing Strategy & Performance
- Lead the analysis of monthly pricing performance across all business lines, providing clear insight into variances against budget and forecast.
- Coordinate and drive price increase campaigns and pricing optimisation programmes across sites, ensuring effective implementation and measurement of business impact.
- Produce transparent and actionable reporting on pricing trends, opportunities, risks and key performance drivers.
- Work with the Group Pricing Team to resolve pricing exceptions within Power BI reporting, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Facilitate the annual pricing forecast process and challenge stakeholders to maximise margin performance and commercial outcomes.
- Support the development of robust pricing assumptions for budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Support the rollout of Group-led pricing projects across the UK.
Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Prepare insightful analysis and presentations for senior management, including:
- Pricing and profitability reviews
- Business cases and investment appraisals
- Scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Forecast risks and opportunities
- Benchmarking and performance trend analysis
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to General Managers, Regional Directors and senior operational leaders across the UK.
- Provide data-led insight and recommendations that support decision-making and improve business performance and profitability.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Lead and contribute to cross-regional and cross-functional initiatives, including revenue optimisation, CAPEX expenditure tracking and operational improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to enhance reporting, business intelligence and data accessibility across the UK.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and drive efficiencies through the use of AI and automation.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified through relevant experience.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, financial control or pricing analysis.
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and business performance analysis.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional financial and analytical skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insight.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
