  • Achieve and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and support the production team to maintain operational excellence.

  • Report on performance metrics including productivity, delivery, and consumption.
  • Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and value.
  • Maintain stock levels of chemicals and consumables.
  • Participate in forecasting and conduct regular reviews.
  • Escalate production issues that may impact delivery schedules.
  • Manage shift staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Lead employee management including absence, performance, and grievances.
  • Implement first-level maintenance in line with company standards.

What will make you stand out?

  • Proven leadership experience in a production or operational environment—ideally within textiles, healthcare, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, such as LEAN or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • IOSH-qualified, with strong literacy and numeracy skills, and a keen eye for detail, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Adaptable and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience), with a solid background in managing performance, absence, and operational KPIs.
